Kinémo（キネモ）は、金継ぎを軸に、修理・教室・創作を行う小さな工房です。

文化財の修理現場で漆や金箔に触れてきた経験から、素材の美しさや手仕事の魅力を、もっと日常の中に届けたいと考えるようになりました。

この名前は、「金（Kin）」＝金継ぎの“金”、“エモ（emo）”＝emotion（感情・記憶）、そして“動き・生命力”を意味するギリシャ語「キネマ（kinema）」を掛け合わせた造語です。
壊れたものが新しいかたちで息を吹き返し、また誰かの日常に寄り添っていく——そんな“再生の物語”そのものを表しています。

このショップでは、漆を使った伝統的な金継ぎの技法で仕上げた古い器と、陶片や天然石など異素材を組み合わせて生まれた一点もののアクセサリーを販売しています。

アクセサリーシリーズは「scix（サイ）」という名で展開しています。呼び継ぎの思想をもとに、異なるかけらが出会い、新しいかたちへと生まれ変わる——そんなささやかな再構築の美しさを、身につける小さなオブジェクトとして表現しています。

継ぎ目には純金（23K）や銀粉を使用し、素材の個性を引き立てながら仕上げています。金は色が沈まず、銀は時間とともにゆっくりと黒く落ち着いた色に変化していきます。

時とともに変わっていく姿や、自然のいびつな形も、ものの魅力だと考えています。

Kinémo is a small studio based in Yokohama, Japan, dedicated to traditional kintsugi—the Japanese art of repairing broken ceramics with lacquer and precious metals.

Drawing on experience in cultural heritage conservation, we value the beauty of materials, time, and careful handwork.
Through kintsugi repair, workshops, and original creations, we aim to bring the quiet richness of restoration into everyday life.

In this shop, you will find kintsugi-repaired vessels finished with traditional techniques, as well as one-of-a-kind accessories created from ceramic fragments and natural materials.
Our accessory line, scix, is inspired by the philosophy of yobitsugi—bringing together different fragments to form a new whole.

We use pure gold (23K) and silver powders for the joints.
Gold retains its brilliance over time, while silver gradually develops a softer, darker patina, reflecting the passage of time.

We believe that change, imperfection, and aging are part of an object’s beauty.
We hope to share small fragments of quiet “rebirth” with your everyday life.
